👟 Meet Your Coaches

Amanda Regnier, PhD(c) Exercise Physiology & Sport Nutrition

Running has been part of my life since high school cross country, and it eventually grew into my career. I specialize in coaching runners of all levels, with a focus on helping people build endurance safely, avoid injuries, and unlock their potential.

As part of my PhD research in exercise physiology and sport nutrition, I’ve spent years studying how fuelling impacts performance. My passion is making the science simple, practical, and realistic for everyday runners — because understanding the why behind training and nutrition makes the how so much easier.

Whether you’re chasing your first 5K or just looking for a fun way to stay active, I love helping runners discover the confidence and energy that comes from consistent training.

Janelle Kendell-Forster (B.Kin)

I’ve been running most of my life — not for racing, but as a way to stay fit for the sports I love. Cycling has always been my main passion, especially road cycling, though more recently I’ve been hooked on mountain biking.

In 2025, I decided to step outside my comfort zone and train for my very first running event — a 50 km trail ultra! That experience taught me just how much running can support not only performance, but overall health and confidence.

Whether running is your main focus or a tool to make other activities easier, it’s one of the simplest ways to boost your fitness. All you need is a pair of shoes and a little time. Working in both the cycling and running industries, I’m passionate about helping athletes feel their best and discover how movement fits into their busy lives.

Why You Should Join

This isn’t a race. It’s a low-pressure, high-support chance to:

  • Learn the basics of fuelling and sports nutrition from experts

  • Move your body in a way that’s comfortable for beginners

  • Try samples and discover what works for you

  • Meet like-minded people who are starting their own running journey

And maybe, just maybe, you’ll walk away with a new friend to share your runs with.

🎁 Extras

  • Nutrition samples for all participants

  • Prizes to give away at the end of the session

  • A supportive, welcoming environment to make running fun
